The link. Nothing after it

How it works

Three steps, none of them ours to slow down.

We approve people. Gumroad runs everything else: the link, the tracking, the split, the payout.

1

Request your link

Two minutes on Gumroad's form. One line about how you would share it is enough, and there is a copy-paste answer below.

2

We approve

By hand, within five working days, with no audience minimum. Gumroad emails your unique link and tracks every click for 30 days.

3

Gumroad pays

It splits each sale at checkout, holds it seven days for the refund window, then pays you with its regular payouts. No invoices, no waiting on us.

What you earn

15% of the sale.

Full-price license
$349, so about $52 per sale
Scope
License sales only, renewals excluded

The customers a business earns should stay theirs. Reward Loyalty puts the loyalty program, customer data, and source code on the owner's server. If your audience values software it can run and keep, that is what you would be recommending.

Your work ends at the link. We build, document, sell, and support the product. Gumroad runs the checkout, the tracking, and the payouts. No buyer is yours to manage, and no support question lands in your inbox.

The commission tracks what the buyer pays. A full-price sale earns you about $52. A discounted sale pays 15% of the discounted price. The updates renewal pays no commission.

One honest note before you apply. Reward Loyalty is self-hosted loyalty software built on Laravel: buyers need a server and some technical comfort, or a developer. Send people it fits. Fewer refunds, and your commission stays yours.

Affiliates are independent. A recommendation carries no warranty from us, and every buyer gets the same product, price, and refund policy however they arrive.

The rules

Six short rules.

The gist: be straight about the link and let the tracking work. A real recommendation never trips over any of these.

  1. 1

Keep the disclosure. Every blurb below ships with it, and "#ad" covers a post you write yourself. The law asks for this one, not us.

  2. 2

No purchases through your own link.

  3. 3

No search ads on "Reward Loyalty", "NowSquare", or misspellings of either.

  4. 4

No coupon, deal, or discount-code sites. Publish no codes we did not issue to you.

  5. 5

Describe the product as it is. The demo and the docs are the source of truth. You are an independent affiliate, never an official reseller.

  6. 6

We can end an affiliation at any time. Commission you earned stays yours.

Materials

Post it without writing from scratch.

Copy a blurb, grab the product card, pull a logo. Swap [your link] for the link Gumroad sends you; the disclosure is already written in. Everything behind your link is public: the listed price, live demo, documentation, and sourced comparisons. A reader can check the fit before paying.

Get your link.

Gumroad's form has one question: how would you promote it. One line answers it, and the copy-paste answer in the card is enough for a yes. We approve by hand within five working days, and Gumroad emails your link the moment we do.

No audience minimum, no follower math. A small newsletter that fits beats a big channel that does not. Requesting a link means you accept the six rules above.

The natural fit is an audience of developers, agencies, and people who run their own software.

Questions

What affiliates ask before applying.

How much is the commission?

15% of each license sale, about $52 at full price. The commission tracks what the buyer pays, and Gumroad takes its processing fee out of the split in proportion, so the landed amount runs a few dollars under the headline number.

Do I need a Gumroad account?

Yes, a free one. Requesting a link creates it if you have none, and Gumroad pays you direct, so the account is where your money lands.

When and how am I paid?

Gumroad clears a sale after seven days, which catches most refunds, then includes it in its regular payout runs. Payouts follow your own Gumroad payout settings. We never touch the money.

What about refunds and chargebacks?

The buyer gets a full refund and the commission comes back out of your Gumroad balance, even after a payout, which can push the balance negative until new sales refill it. A chargeback works the same way. The seven-day clearing delay exists to catch most of these before money moves.

Do I support the buyers I send?

No. We handle the product, the documentation, the support inbox, and the refunds. Gumroad handles the checkout and your payout. Your part ends at the link.

How long does tracking last?

30 days from the click. When two affiliates reach the same buyer, the most recent click wins.

Can I run ads?

Yes, except on our brand names. Bidding on "Reward Loyalty" or "NowSquare" ends the affiliation.

I install or build for clients. Is this the right program?

This program pays for recommendations. If you install, host, or customize for clients, the partner program is the better fit.
