The standard setup needs no scheduled task or separate background worker. A scheduled task gives due loyalty work more predictable timing. Without one, some tasks wait for administrator, business-owner or staff dashboard activity.

Confirm what your plan backs up, how long backups are retained and who can restore them. After installation, test a restore on a private copy, including the database, uploaded images and application settings.

Update

Dashboard updates need hosting that permits the required background process and provides enough resources. If the plan blocks that process, manual updates remain available; installation and normal use do not depend on dashboard updates.

Receive an email sign-in code and open the administrator dashboard.
Use test accounts to record a purchase as staff and confirm the customer receives the expected points.
Upload an image and check that it appears.

Choose the dashboard your hosting provider uses. The linked guide covers PHP, database creation, HTTPS and uploading the application. The standard installation needs no terminal commands; ask hosting support if a setting is missing.

This file checks website PHP and the required extensions. Upload it to the folder for your intended Reward Loyalty address, open it once over HTTPS, then delete it. If a required check fails, it prepares a message for hosting support.

How we test hosting compatibility.
