Path to live · District directory
Launch a loyalty directory for your district.
Turn a place full of participating businesses into a useful program-led discovery surface, with one publishable program and a working counter flow at each business.

Four-domain topology
Give the place and the loyalty network distinct homes.
The district, mall, association, or tourism site remains the public place brand. Reward Loyalty runs on its application domain. A separate sending identity handles OTP mail, and staging carries curation rehearsals and safe technical checks.
Root or marketing
yourdistrict.com
The place website, visitor information, and participation story.
Application
rewards.yourdistrict.com
The program-led Public Listing, member, staff, partner, and admin surfaces.
Transactional email
mail.yourdistrict.com
The authenticated sending subdomain for OTP and service messages.
Staging
staging-rewards.yourdistrict.com
The private copy for publishing checks, updates, and restore tests.
The three-domain license allowance covers production, staging, and test application domains for the network.
Model decisions
Set the model before the screens.
These choices keep the setup coherent. The linked documentation carries the screen-level procedure after the operating decision is made.
Publish programs, not empty business profiles
Public Listing is program-led discovery. Visitors search published programs by program and business name, so every participating business needs one publishable program before the network is useful.
Use the permission stack for curation
A plan sets the available product boundary, partner permissions narrow it, and operator review decides what is ready to publish. This is not a conventional business-directory engine.
Understand self-registration seeding
While Public Listing is active, newly self-registered partners start with homepage publishing enabled. Existing partners do not change automatically. The default plan still limits what a new partner can use.
Use the membership relationship you already run
Collect participation fees through the mall, district, association, or tourism relationship you already operate. Reward Loyalty supplies plans, permissions, and program publishing, not a promise about the directory business outcome.
Inside Reward Loyalty
Curate who can publish.
Partner permissions give the operator control over homepage publishing and the program types each business can use. This is the curation boundary behind Public Listing.
Path to live
Nine milestones, in order.
Make the decision here, then open the owning documentation for the current screens. Do not skip the smoke test or the first restore proof.

1
Lay out your domains
Map the place marketing domain, network application domain, authenticated transactional-email subdomain, and staging domain. Point DNS, issue HTTPS, and test the install from the final public origin.
Open the procedure -
2
Choose your hosting
Choose for multiple participating counters, public program searches, partner administration, image storage, backups, and scheduled work. Use MySQL/MariaDB in production. Keep SQLite for evaluation and compare verified options in the hosting hub.
Open the procedure Open the hosting hub Download the compatibility checker -
3
Install and prove it
Follow the installation guide and complete the real smoke test. Run the same proof again on staging before an update.
- Sign in as the administrator
- Receive a real OTP email
- Credit a test member through a staff checkout
- Upload an image
-
4
Make email real
Use transactional email from day one. Authenticate the network sending domain with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, monitor bounces and complaints, and prove a real OTP arrives. Host SMTP remains an evaluation fallback.
Open the procedure -
5
Shape the front door
Select Public Listing, apply the place branding, and review what a visitor can search. The surface is program-led: published programs are findable by program and business name rather than acting as a conventional business-directory engine.
Open the procedure -
6
Build your first program
Set the primary network and currency. Enable self-registration, choose a default plan that limits new partners appropriately, and use the permission stack for curation. Require each participating business to publish one loyalty mechanic and one worthwhile reward. A business without one publishable program adds no useful discovery result.
Open the procedure Create a points program Create a stamp program -
7
Bring in people
Review self-registered partner businesses, confirm their seeded homepage-publishing access and permissions, and have each partner create staff for its counters. Existing partners do not change automatically. Let first members join in the place itself.
Open the procedure Curate partner permissions Train participating staff -
8
Launch at the counter
Place the network QR at entrances and participating counters, then give each business its own program QR and staff scanning routine. Run the first real checkout, confirm the member credit, and correct any unclear sign before wider promotion.
Open the procedure Prepare staff scanning -
9
The first 30 days
Review members joining, repeat visits, first redeemed rewards, searches that lead nowhere, businesses without a published program, and staff questions. Prove a backup restore, bring Health Center checks to green, and check updates. Loyalty compounds slowly, and that is normal.
