Your web address and HTTPS.

Choose an address for Reward Loyalty, connect it to your hosting, and turn on HTTPS.

Choose an address such as loyalty.example.com for Reward Loyalty. Your marketing website is separate from Reward Loyalty and can stay on WordPress, Wix, Shopify, or a custom site. Link from that website to your loyalty program.

Use a whole domain or subdomain for the app, such as rewards.example.com. Installing in a folder such as example.com/loyalty is not supported.

Find where DNS is managed

Add the address in your hosting control panel. If your domain is with another company, your host will give you records to add in that company's domain settings. Copy the record type, name, and value as supplied.

If you're unsure where to enter them, ask hosting support to help connect the address. Changes can take time to appear. Wait until the address reaches your hosting account before continuing.

Turn on HTTPS

Look for SSL or HTTPS in your hosting control panel and enable it for your Reward Loyalty address.

Open the address with https:// and check that your browser shows no security warning. Then enable Force HTTPS or HTTPS Enforce if your panel offers it. Ask your host to confirm that certificate renewal is automatic.

HTTPS protects sign-in and customer data. It's also needed when members add the app to their phone's home screen.

Choose your final address before printing QR codes or inviting members. Changing it later can leave printed codes and installed shortcuts pointing at the old address.

Choose the setup that matches your model

Single business

Keep your existing website and use an address such as rewards.example.com for loyalty. Showcase introduces one brand, Smart wallet shows your programs, and Portal focuses on signing in. Choose the homepage layout after installation.

Client installation with private businesses

If businesses must not discover each other through a public directory, choose Portal. Each client can share links to its own programs. Their websites stay independent.

Public directory

Choose Public listing when visitors should browse participating businesses' programs. Each business needs a published program. See Public listing for publishing controls.

Other addresses you may use

An email provider may ask you to verify a sending domain such as notify.example.com. This identifies your email; it is not another website. Follow Set up email and keep existing incoming-mail records intact.

A private test copy of the app can use an address such as staging-loyalty.example.com. Use it to try updates before applying them to your live site. See Private test copies and backups.

The three-domain license allowance

Your license allows activation on up to three domains, for example your live site, a private test copy, and a demo. Your separate marketing website and email sending domain do not use an activation.

Custom hosting

If your host asks for settings beyond these steps, share the technical reference. It covers custom network setups.

Before you continue

Check that your chosen address opens over HTTPS without a browser warning. Then set up email or continue to Installation if you have your email settings ready.
