Using an Apple Wallet pass.
Add, use, share, and remove a Reward Loyalty pass in Apple Wallet.
Add a pass
- Open the loyalty card, stamp card, voucher, or issued prepaid pass while signed in.
- Use an iPhone or compatible Mac. On another device, the page tells you to reopen the same signed-in page on one of those devices.
- Tap the official Add to Apple Wallet badge.
- Review Apple's add sheet and choose Add.
The action appears only when the business offers Apple Wallet for that program, your account currently holds or may use it, and the installation is ready to sign passes. A voucher action disappears when the voucher is not redeemable. A prepaid-pass action belongs to your issued pass, not merely the product page.
What the pass contains
The front of the pass shows:
- the business and program name;
- the pass kind and action hint;
- the business colors and artwork;
- a staff QR and fallback scan code.
The back has links for Current details, Support, and Privacy. The pass does not carry your points, stamp total, tier, voucher state, remaining visits, or dates.
The QR opens Reward Loyalty's normal staff screen. Staff still sign in, and Reward Loyalty checks the current program and account before it records anything. An old number printed on the pass cannot bypass a redeemed voucher, expired pass, disabled program, or missing permission.
See your current details
Open Current details on the back of the pass. Reward Loyalty signs you in when needed, then opens the matching loyalty card, stamp card, voucher, or prepaid pass. This page shows the current value and status.
Earning points, collecting stamps, redeeming a voucher, or using a prepaid visit does not change the Apple pass because those values are not printed on it. You do not need to add the pass again after one of those actions.
Add it again if the business changes its name, colors, or Wallet artwork. You may also need a new copy after the business suspends, revokes, or recovers the pass.
Share carefully
Apple may offer a standard share action for a pass. Treat the pass like the QR in your member account: it can reveal program information and may lead to a staff workflow. Do not post it publicly. Staff authorization and server checks still prevent the pass alone from completing a transaction.
Remove a pass
Open the pass in Apple Wallet, open its details menu, and choose Apple's remove action. Removing it does not delete your Reward Loyalty account, points, stamps, voucher history, or paid pass history.
Reward Loyalty cannot detect or confirm removal in this static release. If you later add the same eligible pass again, Reward Loyalty signs a fresh package with the same stable pass identity.
To remove your personal data from Reward Loyalty itself, use the account privacy controls or contact the installation operator. See Privacy, retention, and support.
