Counter workflow.

The counter actions in order: award points, generate a redemption code, add stamps, claim rewards, redeem vouchers, and sell and scan prepaid passes.

Jul 21, 2026

Once you have the customer open, every counter action follows the same pattern: confirm the customer and the specific program, then commit. This page covers each action in turn.

After a transaction

After you commit a points transaction, add a stamp, or redeem a voucher, you land on a focused history page for that program. A compact member card sits at the top, showing name, tier, and balance at a glance, then the full history for that card, stamp card, or voucher follows. A bordered continuation button below the member card returns you to that program's action, so you can transact again without going back to the overview first. When the last transaction is yours to reverse, whether a stamp, a voucher redemption, a pass visit, or a points award, an Undo recent… button sits beside the continuation, with a confirm step. It reverses your own most recent one, never a colleague's, as a reversing entry on the record, not a deletion. You can undo a points award only while it is still unspent and unexpired; once the customer has spent those points or they have expired, the correction needs a partner or admin. The back arrow in the app bar takes you to the Customer overview. See Undoing and reversing for what happens to balances, tiers, and history.

Awarding points (loyalty cards)

  1. Find the customer (search or scan)
  2. Select Add points action
  3. Enter the purchase amount
  4. Confirm the points to award
  5. Customer receives their points at once

Generating a redemption code (loyalty cards)

When a customer cannot scan (they have already left, or you are crediting points after the fact), generate a single-use code instead. From Redemption codes, tap Generate code: if you run more than one card, the screen opens with an empty Select a card picker so you choose the right one first; with a single card it opens straight on it. Enter the number of points, choose how long the code stays valid under Valid for (1 hour to 1 month, starting on the default of 3 days), and tap Generate code: the four-digit code fills the screen so you can read it to the customer. They enter it in their wallet to receive the points. The code is single-use, and the customer's tier multiplier still applies on redemption. See Redemption codes for the full flow.

Adding stamps (stamp cards)

  1. Find the customer (search or scan)
  2. Select Add stamps action
  3. Confirm the stamp addition
  4. Customer sees their progress update

Processing redemptions

  1. Find the customer (search or scan)
  2. Tap the reward they want to claim
  3. Verify they have enough points or stamps, shown in the details panel
  4. Tap Claim reward
  5. Provide the reward to the customer

Redeeming vouchers

  1. Find the customer (search or scan)
  2. Select Redeem voucher action
  3. Scan voucher QR or enter voucher code
  4. Enter purchase amount
  5. Confirm and apply discount

Selling prepaid passes

  1. Take payment at your till
  2. Tap Sell a pass from the bottom tab bar, or open the customer first and tap Sell a pass on their overview
  3. Confirm the price you charged
  4. Let the customer scan the purchase code, or scan their Buy at the counter code

On each visit, scan the QR on the customer's pass and tick one or more visits off. A one-tap undo fixes mistakes. See Selling and scanning for both flows, including selling to brand-new customers without looking anyone up.

The customer sees it live. If the customer has their wallet open, the points, stamp, reward, voucher discount, or pass visit you processed appears on their screen within a couple of seconds, with a small celebration in the business's colours. There is no refresh on their end, and nothing for you or the business to set up. They need to be online to watch it update. The app records the transaction either way.
