A business owner's connection acts as that business owner and never reaches another business. This page lists every tool it can be offered. A connection sees only the tools that match its access and the features on the business's plan.

How to read the tables

  • Tool is the name your AI client sees. It is also the operationId in the OpenAPI spec.
  • Safety says what a call does. Reads changes nothing. Changes makes an everyday change that Reward Loyalty logs. Waits for approval only prepares the change and gives you a review link. Nothing runs until you approve it. See Approvals.
  • Waits for approval over MCP applies to deletes and stored-money moves. Over the HTTP Agent API they run at once. Rows that say waits for approval for a condition wait over both.
  • Access lists the scopes. A connection needs one of the listed scopes, unless the cell says All of. Scopes and permissions explains each scope. Access and security shows which access choice grants them.
  • Tools marked contacts an outside service send a request from your server to another system, such as a store or your webhook endpoint.

Tools in families

A connection gets a tool list that fits its access and your plan. When the full list would be too large for an AI client, the platform keeps some families out of the list. Those tools stay available through two tools that are always in the list: describe_tool_family and run_family_tool. The AI client first asks which tools a family holds, then runs one by name. The same access checks and approvals apply. Which families are kept out depends on the connection's access and your plan. Ask the client to call describe_tool_family to see them. The list is limited to 90 tools and 150 KB.

Plan feature names the feature the business needs. A tool whose feature is off for the business is not in its tool list. None means no feature gate beyond the Agent API itself.

New monetary sales need an enabled, complete setup and the Prepaid passes plan feature. Existing-balance reads, spending and spend reversals remain available when sales stop. Money analytics still needs Prepaid passes. The setup read remains available after a downgrade if the business has a saved setup. Scope checks and account restrictions still apply. Some tasks have no tool on purpose: store credentials, installing Shopify, connecting WooCommerce, signing in, creating keys and connections, uploads, downloads, billing checkout, and refunds, holds and other stored-money corrections.
