Who is this for?

The three audiences Reward Loyalty serves, from physical businesses to agencies and API developers.

Jul 22, 2026

💡 The short answer: One product, three audiences. Physical businesses run their own rewards program. Agencies run loyalty as a service for their clients. Developers build custom solutions on the REST API, Agent API, and webhooks.

💡 New to the platform? Read The Shared Wallet Concept to understand how multiple businesses can share one installation while staying invisible to each other.

One license

Reward Loyalty is one license, $349 one-time. Run loyalty for your own business or for unlimited businesses on one install. Each business's data stays apart, and you keep everything you charge.

The license includes the full source, every feature, and 12 months of updates and support. Renewal afterward is optional: $99 a year. The install runs forever on the last version you received even if you skip it. Each separate installation needs its own license, and the license does not permit reselling or redistributing the source itself. A license covers up to three domains, enough for production plus staging and test copies, and local development domains never count toward that limit.

Physical businesses

You run a shop, salon, restaurant, gym, or studio and want customers to come back.

The loyalty program is your marketing tool. You don't charge customers for it; the return comes from repeat visits and higher lifetime value.

How it works:

  • Install Reward Loyalty on your hosting
  • Create your loyalty cards, stamp cards, prepaid passes, and rewards
  • Customers scan a QR code to join and open their wallet
  • Staff scan the member QR (or look them up) to credit points or stamps and redeem rewards

The counter needs no special hardware; a phone or tablet works. Members can save their cards to Google Wallet, and when you're ready, any till that can call an API can connect.

Recommended homepage: Showcase puts your brand up front. Smart wallet makes several campaigns feel like one wallet. Portal is a clean sign-in page for QR-first counters or an app behind your existing website.

License: One license.

Agencies & operators

You serve business clients and want loyalty in your service catalog. You might be a freelancer with one client or an agency with fifty; the shapes are the same.

A separate install per client. The client gets their own installation, database, and domain. You bill for setup, customization, hosting, and maintenance; typical rates land between $500 and $2,000 for setup and $50 to $200 a month for management. Each install needs its own license.

One white-label install for all clients. Your brand, your domain. Each client becomes a partner account, isolated from every other (the shared wallet concept explains the architecture). Plan tiers set each client's features and limits, and you invoice through your existing accounting or turn on Stripe or PayPal subscription billing. White-label operators charge in the range of $49 to $199 a month per client. One license covers unlimited client businesses on the install.

The white-label shape also fits shopping districts, malls, franchises, and business associations that offer loyalty as a member benefit and invoice through an existing relationship. A single-brand chain or franchise counts as one business however many locations it has.

Recommended homepage: For one white-label install with unrelated clients, Portal keeps the shared homepage neutral while every client promotes their own direct links and QR codes. Use Smart wallet when you want selected clients presented together. Public listing turns a district, mall, association, or marketing network into a searchable destination. For separate client installations, choose Showcase, Smart wallet, or Portal to match that client's brand and acquisition flow.

License: One per install. A white-label install needs one license for any number of client businesses.

Developers & custom builds

You build software and want a loyalty backend instead of building one.

You're an agency that wants to offer "your" loyalty platform to clients without them knowing you're using Reward Loyalty.

  • Agent API: Machine-to-machine access with long-lived keys for partner, member, and admin roles, granular scopes, rate limiting, and audit logging. An OpenAPI 3.0 spec and a tool discovery endpoint output ready-made tool definitions in OpenAI, Anthropic, MCP, or generic JSON Schema format, so AI agents can operate a loyalty program out of the box.
  • REST API: The session-token API behind the web interface. A client signs in as an admin, partner, staff member, or member and calls endpoints as that user. Use it for custom frontends and mobile apps.
  • Webhooks: Signed outbound deliveries for member sync and program events, so your systems hear about points, stamps, and redemptions as they happen.

People build custom webshop checkouts (the e-commerce guide covers the dual-key flow), POS bridges (connect any till), kiosks, and AI assistants on these surfaces.

Two honesty notes before you buy:

  • Ready-made Shopify and WooCommerce connections exist in early access. For a production webshop today, the APIs are the dependable path.
  • The APIs ship as-is with each release. Browse the live Agent API and REST API docs on the demo to verify the endpoints cover your build before purchasing.

Recommended homepage: Portal is the neutral starting point for custom front ends. Choose Smart wallet when the built-in card experience is part of your product, or Public listing when the custom build depends on public discovery.

License: One per installation, full source included.

Plan tiers & billing

For white-label operators, Reward Loyalty 5 includes a plan tier system with three billing modes: manual (default), Stripe, and PayPal. Four configurable tiers set each partner's limits and features, and assigning a plan applies them. In manual mode you invoice through your existing accounting with no payment configuration; with Stripe or PayPal, partners subscribe, upgrade, and manage their plan themselves. Partners see their plan and usage on a My Plan page, and admins watch subscription health on a SaaS overview dashboard. Partner self-registration exists behind an admin toggle, off by default.

📖 Full setup: The SaaS Setup Guide covers plan configuration, billing modes, network setup, partner registration, and verification. See Plans & Pricing for tier configuration and Billing Configuration for provider setup.

What you're buying

When you purchase Reward Loyalty, you get:

  • Complete loyalty card system with points, tiers, and rewards
  • Digital stamp cards (buy 10, get 1 free)
  • Prepaid passes sold at the counter (10-packs and simple memberships)
  • Multi-tenant architecture with partner isolation
  • Plan tier system (4 configurable tiers)
  • Manual/offline billing mode (the default, no Stripe required)
  • Stripe and PayPal billing (webhook lifecycle, subscription sync, self-service upgrades)
  • REST API, Agent API, and signed outbound webhooks
  • Shopify and WooCommerce connections (early access)
  • Google Wallet passes
  • Full source code
  • 12 months of updates and support
  • Renewal afterward is optional: $99 a year. The install runs forever even if you stop, and you keep the last version you received.

What to expect

Reward Loyalty is self-hosted software. You (or your developer) install and configure it, and you own the result. Manual billing needs zero payment configuration; automated Stripe or PayPal billing takes a setup session with API keys and a webhook. If you want a hosted service where someone else runs the servers, this is a different kind of product.
